Originally from northwest Louisiana, I have put in some miles to get to humanmusique productions. This all started in a high school band just outside Austin, Texas to music school, the Air Force band, as well as a free lance drummer for a number of international touring bands to here.
My immediate plan is to publish my work through humanmusique, get established and pull in some other artists and try to work the same magic. There are several monickers that I use to compartmentalize the songs. To date releases (electronic CD's) are available by Likuid Eklektik (never2late), Papa T ( a little dub will do you) and a single by Foreyes (my kind of day). In the meantime before and after these releases, there's plenty of marketing to do...lots of work. All of the music is available on major music streaming/download platforms...apple music, deeper, tidal, heart radio, spotify and a few more that escape me at the moment.
So that's me and what I do in a nutshell and I'm sticking to it.

I’m baaaack. The photo.. To me, this is a very inspiring image. That’s my oldest son walking the puppies. Notice the entire beach is void of people other than my son. I love that about our home area. There’s so may areas such as this one where if you take the time, you will be touched and inspired by Mother Nature.. uncut natural energy that moves you.. And at times, even takes your breath away. This is the prime reason to visit the alters of Mother Nature in the first place. Allow it… and she will move you to your core.

This is the downhill side for Likuid Eklektik’s sophomore release and it’s a good representation of progress both in song writing and production. I was getting just a bit frustrated with adjusments and more adjustments and … It has made big difference following my wife’s advice and buying some decent speakers..actual.. studio.. monitors. It has made all the difference in the world. Financially I couldn’t really afford them, afford them but, the other side of that is it really does streamline my process all around.
In the meantime while I’m finishing up the release list, I’ve started setting up mixing templates for the next newest thing from humanmusique. It’s a Papa T album. I’m calling it “Dub Project #2”.. for now at least. It will consist of about 10 selections from both Papa T and one from Likuid Eklektik’s first album.. Never2Late.. along with one or two that will be fresh out of the box. I’m excited not only to apply everything I’ve learned from the last project but, I’m going to learn more with this project also. It just gets better and better.
Be on the look out for a couple of announcements leading up to the February 14th release. Those will be posted on fb, instagram, X (formally twitter), linkedIn and the neighborhood app. And remember.. interact, comment.. “humanmusique”… a Friday Progress Report:February 2, 2024
AAANND we’re back. First, the photo. This shot is located at a rest stop about 70 miles east of Seattle on I90. It is the northern Cascade Mountains. Just about any place in or around the northern Cascades is picturesque. I believe the time frame for this shot is April 2023.
Now.. the album. The album, NO LIMITS:2020-Likuid Eklektik is complete with the exception of one minor adjustment. And I do mean minor. The space in between songs can be as long or as short as you choose. Usually there’s only two or three seconds as a general rule. The space I need to adjust is currently about eight or nine seconds after the fourth song going into the fifth song. It’s long enough to make you think the album is finished. So.. like I said, it’s minor and will be taken care of as soon as I finish this message.
So.. you say.. “That means that the album is finished and ready for release then”. That is correct. It was in one of my earlier notes that I mentioned that I would not release new material on the streaming networks but.. I’ve had second thoughts on that. Maybe some of you have seen a statement floating around the ether-world by the one and only Snoop Dog when he mentioned he only made $40-something thousand dollars on spotify for hundreds of thousands of spins. Well that tells you right there that for an artist like me… there’s definitely no money in the streaming networks. There are a lot of subscribers for the networks and some of them such as pandora and youtube, to name a couple, are free.. along with commercials. For me there’s more people to share the music with and a larger internet presence.. Not to mention that the subscription I have to master my music.. distribution on all the major streaming networks is included. So.. there’s that.
Now you’re probably asking, when will this new Likuid Eklektik album be released? That’s a very good question too.. it will be released on this page (https://likuideklektik.bandcamp.com/track/what-have-we-done-now-2) on February 14, 2024.. and shortly after that on spotify, apple music, pandora, tidal, deezer as well as a few others that I can’t recall right now. I will get the word out for the streaming network release as soon as I have it. Somewhere in the neighborhood of February 14 is the target time though. All the music is scanned by the company for plagiarism prior to release and sometimes that takes more time than you expect. Keep in mind, it’s not just me getting music mastered and released. Now for those interested in making good use of their spotify streaming subscription, here’s where you can find Likuid Eklektik’s first album on spotify… (https://open.spotify.com/album/3iblRkC6LgyCYn391oQJ2E). This Remix of Never2Late will be Remixed in the not too distant future also.. I’ll let you know about this as well.
Well..onward and forward with the last minor adjustment and a final master and the rest is paper work. “humanmusique”… a Friday Progress Report:January 26, 2024
Welcome back everyone. I am nearing the end of this journey with Likuid Eklektik-NO LIMITS:2020. I got the new monitors to fire up and I’ve been able to use them for my mix. Remember, I was doing my mix, then bouncing them down and mastering everything, go out to my wife’s car and listen to the results and take notes. Come back to the church, make my adjustments and do it over again. Now I can do all of that right here in the church with my new monitors. I’m liking this much better.
So.. I’m down to the final mix on the last two songs.. number 9 and 10. I plan to finish the mix on both of those tonight and run a master and go from there. The next time you visit, there should be new music by Likuid Eklektik available on my page. And then it’s on to Papa T’s Dub project. The second photo above is a demo recorded in Austin, Texas as Perfect Pitch Production Studio and, a lot, if not all of the songs from those sessions will be included on the Papa T Dub Project #2. After that.. it will be Papa T and Company ft. Sky. At this point I have Sky telling the stories and Jaqui telling her story. Then Shaqira and Nina back it all up on the “Say What You Gotta Say” album. That’s down the road a bit. More details for both of those as I move beyond this current album.
Speaking of.. I’m going to move that direction right now and finish up the last two songs and tie it up. Come back next Friday and visit to get the final results.
